Muir Maxwell Trust: An Evening at Madame Tussauds 2009
Client - The Muir Maxwell Trust
Date - Thursday, 28th November 2009
Venue - Madame Tussauds, London
The Trust held a fundraising dinner for 200 guests at Madame Tussauds. It was evening of entertainment starting with the taxi ride before arriving in the A-List room for a champagne reception with the Beckhams, Kate Moss, George Clooney and Will Smith, to name but a few! We had a burlesque ballet performance during dinner which was followed by entertainment from Fred MacAulay and Rory Bremner which provided lots of laughs amongst the waxworks.
Martin Bayfield was our auctioneer for the evening and the auction included a luxury holiday to Raffles Canounan in the Grenadines, a private 'White Truffle' fine dining experience with Michelin-starred chef Martin Wishart, a house party at Archerfield House and a Ferrari factory tour with luxury hospitality. Guests also bid for epilepsy alarms and their generosity will help the Trust provide over 30 alarms to families caring for a child with epilepsy. The evening was a fabulous success with £200,000 being raised.
Our role - with access to the venue and guests arriving at 7pm a very carefully orchestrated delivery plan was in place to ensure the smooth running of this event. ECS were involved in every aspect of the event from its inception through to delivery.
