William Grant & Sons: Ailsa Bay Distillery Opening

ECS were enlisted to help Wm Grant & Sons organise the official opening of their new Ailsa Bay Distillery. The preference was to keep the event low key and keep the feel of a working distillery but still look after the guests in a professional manner. Guests were offered a number of different tour options as well as lunch and drinks. Prince Charles was in attendance as a VIP and this added extra logistical challenges due to security and protocol. The event ran very smoothly despite constant chances to the movements of HRH Prince Charles and also the complex movements of guests around the distillery in different groups at different times.

Our role - was to coordinate all invitations and responses, source suitable catering, meet and greet guests and direct them to the appropriate places - for lunch, tours, picking up gifts, coordinate the AV and ensure arrangements were in place for HRH's arrival.
