Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Awards

We have managed the Awards since 2001 and the latest event took place at Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh. Run by Glenfiddich, the Awards are supported by The Scotsman newspaper and have established themselves as THE celebration of Scottish culture. This unique scheme recognises the individuals who inspire Scotland, leading the way in our culture in such diverse areas as food, music, the environment, art, business, writing and sport and who, through their achievements, are making every year count.
Just over 180 guests gathered on a cold, wet, windy night at the spectacular Mansfield Traquair to recognise and pay tribute to Scots who in the last 12 months have surpassed themselves in their chosen fields and, in doing so, have flown the flag for the Scottish nation. Presenter Kirsty Wark was joined by a host of citation readers including Stephen Jardine, Ian Rankin, Piers Gibbon, Chris Paterson and Colin MacIntyre - to name but a few.
Guests enjoyed a delicious, creative, Glenfiddich-inspired menu by Heritage Portfolio before the awards ceremony took place. With a striking stage set and stunning Glenfiddich branded table centres, this invitation only event has become the hottest ticket in town!
Our role - managing every aspect of the event as well as co-ordinating the judging process, contacting all nominees, liaising with The Scotsman, managing the invitation list and co-ordinating the AV and stage management of the show itself.
