VisitScotland: Scottish Thistle Awards 2007

The Scottish Thistle Awards are aimed at recognising and celebrating excellence in Scottish tourism, and ECS are proud to have been associated with these awards for the past ten years.  It's out biggest event - 850 turn out annually for the evening that's become known as the Oscars of Scottish Tourism.   This year's event was hosted by Alistair McGowan who also provided a extremely funny after-dinner speech!!


Our role – We co-ordinate every aspect of these high-profile awards.  This includes recruiting category sponsors, preparing criteria, copywriting and print production, co-coordinating the judging process, generating entries and managing finances - as well as the overall event management of the evening.
