The 2009 Tourism Innovation Day is taking place on 3rd February at the new Glasshouse at Eskmills and it's all about encouraging Innovation. The one-day event will help owners and managers of Scotland's wide range of tourism businesses spot the opportunities for innovation and growth in their organisation, and learn from experts how to turn ideas in to reality. This is the must-attend event in Scottish tourism.

The day will once again be chaired by Muriel Gray.

 Keynote speakers:

  • Severine Philardeau from TripAdvisor - arguably the most influential web site in global tourism decision making.
  • Bettina von Stamm of the Innovation Leadership Forum. Bettina is hugely experienced and passionate about understanding and enabling innovation.
  • Ellis Watson has a reputation as one of the most innovative business leaders in the UK.    You might not know his name, but you will know his businesses: the global rights to Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Mirror Group Newspapers, Menzies Distribution.
